Great opening, but boring and bland chorus

Dope!

Continue it, sounds nice!

This is trance (electronic) by the way, so please recategorize that.

For the intro, either make the snare louder, or don't bring it at all. Less Nexus presets (try Serum!), a little of high-pass EQ, less detune, make the main lead have a higher part (copy and paste it one octave higher) and add a gritty, loud(fat), side-chained bass synth halfway through the chorus. There is a bass, but it's too weak!

Also, don't ask people to use this in Geometry Dash! People will use it if they want, don't ask them to give you attention. Fix your tags as well. Second of all, barely anyone will use an 8-minute track in a level.

Rating: Decent, needs improvement.

WasderNoob-MatiasSWA responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try harder, I don't use nexus and I'm to young to buy VST's. I think that raising the octave for one of the leads would be to ear 'wrenching' in my opinion. Also Geometry Dash has a feature called offset and also freedom :P Nobody will want to make an 8,7 or even 2 minute level, but they can end the song and build off whenever they want.

Thanks for the feedback!

A little bit less reverb on that synth on the start of the song, then create an automation for the reverb as the song progresses. Kick drum should be louder. And the ending, maybe just put a 4 measure note of the lead, to sort of fade out.

Nice work ;)

Only DJ Khaled cans say his own name in his own songs. You're not a "prodigy of rhythm". Quit kissing your own ass.

Now, the song itself isn't great. You got the beginning of a song, lets ignore the god awful "DJ Tiger" for now. The actual start is decent, could lead into a cool breakdown as a rock song, even though you probably took some 2 measure loop from a sample pack. Then you abruptly changed it to a loop with a horrible kick drum every beat. The sausage fattner dosent have to be all the way up!

Then, this is pretty much the whole song, except for one part where you add a bunch of shitty japanese vocals that are all off tempo. You could just remove them completely.

Nobody's gonna play this in clubs, nobodys gonna use this in their games. The only reason I gave one star is because I do see room for improvement. Remove the god awful "DJ Tiger" sound effect, remove the kick drum, add more clean drums, some guitars, and you got yourself a funky rock song. Try to be creative, and put more emotions into your music! You'll get much more than 9 fans!

Thank You for your comment =) -DJ, TIGERM

needs more distortion and sausage fattner m9

Submit this to NMSNL or NCS, they'll might accept this! Really nice! Needs a drumstep vip though, as I sorta liked that part the most.
If you reply to this, whats your DAW and your favourite VST/whatever plugin?

Geoplex responds:

I like the drumstep part the most too! Maybe I will make an alternate version of this song at some point.

I've always used FL Studio for my music, I've dabbled in Ableton and Logic but I haven't found the workflow to be as agreeable. Protools too, which I used a lot for audio editing and film-sound projects; but I hate the MIDI UI a lot... very clunky.

I like Sylenth1 for synths because it's very simple and incredibly easy to use. Fabfilter Pro Q Is amazing EQ... not sure what else. Valhalla Room is the best reverb I've used, it wipes the floor with every stock plugin i've ever seen.

I may just submit this to some channels, I don't usually do that. I guess I'm not in a hurry to promote myself for whatever reason. Thanks for the encouragement and the feedback :)
